Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida is a year-round theme park. Florida has a mild winter climate that's warm enough to enjoy even during the winter.Even though the park is open year-round, its hours are shorter during the fall, winter and early spring. During these months, you'll want to get to the theme park early in the day so that you'll have enough time to enjoy its many attractions. Luckily, lines are short during the off-season. You may be able to ride your favorite coasters several times in the same amount of time it would take you to ride only once during the busy summer season! Summertimes, though, have much longer operating hours, and a fuller schedule of shows and entertainment. Every October, Busch Gardens Tampa has TWO operating schedules! The theme park is open during the daytime for guests to enjoy all of it's usual rides and attractions. Then, on selected evenings, the park re-opens (and a separate ticket is needed) to enjoy special Halloween haunted houses and monsters on the prowl! Then beginning near Thanksgiving, Busch Gardens Tampa begins celebrating the Christmas holiday. January is one of the theme park's slowest months for visitors, and (especially on weekdays) you may have your dream visit (including some of the fastest ride lines of the year!) Some days may be chilly or rainy...but if your vacation allows you to wait a day or two, then a warmer, sunnier day will surely be along soon.The park's January schedule is simple. There are only 3 different operating schedules this month, as follows--- 10 AM TO 6 PM DATES: MOST weekdays follow this schedule, with the exception of the Martin Luther King, Jr holiday. Dates when Busch Gardens opens at 10 am & closes at 6 pm are---Monday thru Friday, Jan 2, 3, 4, 5, 6; Monday thru Friday, January 9, 10, 11, 12, 13; Tuesday thru Friday, Jan 17, 18, 19, 20; Monday thru Friday, January 23, 24, 25, 26, 27; Monday & Tueswday, January 30 & 31. 9:30 AM TO 6 PM DATES: You may enjoy Busch Gardens fun from 9:30 am until 6 pm on the following Sundays in January---Sunday, Jan 8th, 22nd, and 29th. 9 AM UNTIL 7 PM DATES: The Busch Gardens opening time is 9 am and the park's closing time is 7 pm on the following dates in January--- Busch Gardens Tampa Hours--February 2011February is a good month for visiting Busch Gardens. If you're visiting from out-of-state, you'll find Tampa's weather quite refreshing in February...and crowds are much lighter at the park than during the park's busy summer vacation season. Sunday, Feb 5: Opening time at Busch Gardens Tampa today will be 9:30 am; closing time will be 6 pm. Monday thru Friday, February 6, 7, 8, 9, 10: On these weekdays, BGT will open at 10 am and close at 6 pm.
