Orlando Outlet Malls

Here's a list of best factory outlet centers in the Orlando, FL area!

In the slide show above, you're viewing pictures of several Orlando, Florida factory outlet malls. Clustered in the same vicinity as the Orlando theme parks (such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld Orlando,) a bargain-hunter's trip to Florida couldn't possibly feel complete without a visit to one of these attractive, convenient outlet centers. (Or, maybe ALL of them!)

List of Orlando, Florida outlet malls

Picture: decorative flower pots, such as these at the Orlando Premium Outlets, are frequently found at modern USA outlet malls Most people are lucky if their towns have even ONE good outlet mall.

Imagine lucky Orlando, then...with not just one, but SEVERAL excellent outlet shopping choices!

You'll find all kinds of discount shopping in the Orlando area. One of the first things you'll notice if you're staying in one of the area's tourist districts will be the "bargain" gift shops. Gaudy signs and outrageous architecture tout cheap t-shirts, towels and every type of Disney merchandise under the sun. Selling clothing and souvenirs from mostly Asian manufacturers, you can bag some cheap trinkets to take home to preserve your Florida vacation memories.

But finding cheap souvenirs has nothing to do with the REAL, high-quality merchandise discounts you can get in the Orlando outlets! To meet your family's clothing needs, you'll find apparel outlets ranging the gamut of prices from high-end designer-wear to trendy teen gear. You'll find luxury handbags and more moderately-priced brands of accessories, as well. But whatever it is that your family will need to wear to school, the office and for casual occasions, you WILL find what you're looking for somewhere amongst the many Orlando outlet shops.

Here are several factory outlet centers you'll want to consider visiting during your Orlando, Florida vacation:

1.) Orlando Premium Outlets---Vineland Ave

Picture: Decorative lighting lights up the Orlando Premium Outlets every evening The Orlando Premium Outlets-Vineland Ave are a member of the well-liked Premium Outlet centers.

The Orlando Premium Outlets-Vineland Ave feature 150 stores, which means you're likely to find quite a number of stores with which you're familiar. This is the closest large outlet center to Walt Disney World; the mall is at the very same exit you'd use to visit Downtown Disney or stay at one of the Disney Hotel Plaza inns.

The Orlando Premium Outlets--Vineland Ave used to be the ONLY Orlando outlet mall owned by the Premium outlet chain. In 2010, however, the Orlando Prime Outlets were purchased by Premium...and so, these days there are actually TWO "Orlando Premium Outlets." To differentiate between the two, the original Orlando Premium outlet mall is now called the Orlando Premium Outlets---Vineland Ave," named after the street where it's located.

To see pictures, discover the list of stores you may enjoy at this location, and read a traveler's review of this mall, please check out the Orlando Premium Outlets-Vineland Ave page of our site.

2.) Orlando Premium Outlets---International Dr

Picture: Tower at the Orlando Prime Outlet Mall advertises several of the center's brands The Orlando Premium Outlets--International Dr is a large & popular Orlando outlet mall formerly called the Orlando Prime Outlets. In 2010, it was purchased by the prestigious Premium Outlet chain...which already had a very nice outlet mall in Orlando. What to do? Keep them both! Now the original Orlando Premium Outlet Mall uses the designation of "Vineland," while the former Prime Outlet location uses the designation "International"...both locations being named after the streets on which they can be found.

The Orlando Premium Outlets--International Dr offers you 175 high-quality factory stores in a range of merchandise categories. You'll find both "everyday" brand names, as well as many luxury, high-end designer outlets.

The International Drive location of the Orlando Premium Outlets will be very conveniently located for you if you're visiting SeaWorld or Universal Studios Florida. In fact, the I-4 freeway exit for Universal Orlando is the very same one you'd use to visit the mall.

To see pictures, explore the mall's list of stores, and read a traveler's review, please visit the Orlando Premium Outlets--International Dr page of our site.

3.) Outlet Marketplace

Picture: Kitchen Collection store at the Outlet Marketplace, a location of the Prime outlet chain in Orlando, Florida The Outlet Marketplace--another member of the Premium outlet chain-- is a small but handy outlet center which features high-quality merchandise and top name brands.

This small outdoor shopping center has many openings to fill...with space for perhaps 30+ factory stores. However, the stores already occupying the center are, for the most part, familiar names that you will know and enjoy.

To see a few more pictures, and discover a directory of outlet stores at this center, please view the Outlet Marketplace page of our site.

4.) Festival Bay Mall

Picture: Bass Pro Shop at the Festival Bay Mall in Orlando, Florida The Festival Bay Mall is a hybrid mall which includes both outlet and "regular" retail stores, as you can tell by the picture of Festival Bay's Bass Pro Shop to your right (which is NOT one of its outlet stores.)

Multiple choices for entertainment...including movie theaters, miniature golf and an indoor children's playland...make this a fun place to visit, in addition to Festival Bay's outlet shopping opportunities.

Best of all, the Orlando Premium Outlets--International and the Outlet Marketplace are right across the street--so you can enjoy an entire day of outlet-shopping fun in one location!

The Festival Marketplace will be redeveloped soon including a removal of the roof (to turn it into an new-style outdoor mall, including cute touches like planters, park benches, etc.) Eventually, the new name of the mall is supposed to become the Paragon Outlets Orlando. Some disruption of shops & services is inevitable during the process, but for the most part, the mall's stores, restaurants and entertainment (including the movie theaters) will remain in operation during the transition period.

To discover the restaurants, entertainment, and list of stores you may enjoy, please see the Festival Bay Mall page of our site.

5.) Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores

Picture: Lake Buena Vista outlet mall's Rack Room Shoes store The Lake Buena Vista outlet mall is a mid-sized outdoor mall with a respectable list of good outlet stores.

Located in Lake Buena Vista...which is the actual town where WDW is situated...you'll find this outdoor mall a convenient option if you have your car with you on vacation. With 40+ stores, you'll find less congestion here, plus parking so close you can drive up to the door of each store. You'll also find a few interesting outlet shops here that aren't available anywhere else in the Orlando area.

To see photos, view a list of outlet stores, and read a traveler's review, please visit the Lake Buena Vista Outlet Mall page of our site.
