Year-round shows at SeaWorld Florida
1.) Shamu's whale show: While all of SeaWorld Orlando's shows are popular, most visitors hold a special place in their hearts for Shamu. A brand NEW Shamu show started at the park at the end of April, 2011: Shamu's One Ocean show. This Shamu show is an environment/green-themed performance helping to educate visitors about both orca whales and taking care of our world's seas. But, of course, exciting entertainment is part of the mix, as well...so don't sit too close to the water if you don't want to get wet! Shamu and his friends haven't forgotten how to completely DRENCH visitors in the "Soak Zone" with the mere splash of their giant tail flukes!2.) Blue Horizons Dolphin Show: Nearly as popular as Shamu's show is the exciting dolphin show at SeaWorld in Orlando. This colorful spectacle includes not only dolphins and their trainers, but lavishly costumed acrobats & aerialists, tropical birds, and a less-familiar whale species. You'll thrill to lively, original music and enjoy a lavish production that will please all ages. 3.) Clyde and Seamore Sea Lion Show: All of the Sea World park locations feature a comical sea lion show, and Orlando's version is just as sure to get you giggling as performances at other locations you may have visited. Sea Lions Clyde and Seamore are the undisputed stars of the zany action. A tiny, talented otter and a hefty walrus round out the cast.4.) A'Lure, the Call of the Ocean acrobatic show: The whimsical theme of a frolicsome civilization that exists beneath the waves sets the stage for amazing Chinese acrobatic feats of skill. Lavish costumes, a colorful set, and exciting music make this a performance you won't soon forget. Located indoors in an air conditioned theater, you'll also enjoy comfort away from the heat as you thrill to the feats of these amazingly talented acrobats. 5.) Pets Ahoy trained pet show: Familiar animal friends, such as dogs, cats, and a cute pig demonstrate to park visitors that Sea World's marine animals aren't the only ones with intelligence and dexterity. If you love a pet, you won't want to miss this lively, endearing performance. Held in an indoor theater, you'll enjoy air conditioned comfort as you grin to the antics of these pets. Arrive early, though...this show is popular!
Sea World Orlando's list of roller coasters and rides
Thrill-lovers can enjoy some screamin' fun at Orlando, Florida's Sea World Park! 2.) Manta roller coaster: Sea World's 2nd giant roller coaster is the newest thrill ride at the park. It first opened in May, 2009, and has been extremely popular ever since. (This means that Manta has big lines during busy seasons at SeaWorld!) This smooth steel roller coaster takes its dare-devil riders through drops and inversions...while riders are lying down on their tummies! Following the show on-screen, you'll wander through a wonderland of arctic animal exhibits, themed decor and props

Linger as long as you'd like at the exhibit's outdoor shark tanks...and even give feeding the sharks a try!

6.) Dolphin feeding: After viewing Sea World's dolphin show, you may find yourself yearning to enjoy a bit of interaction with these beautiful creatures. For the price of a serving of fish, you can! Have someone in your party ready with a camera to catch these special moments! Next, spend some time observing the dolphins' graceful swimming from an underwater viewing area nearby.
Sea World Orlando Quick Queue
SeaWorld's extra-fee front-of-line pass can save you time on crowded days!
Quick Queue passes at SeaWorld Orlando move you to the front of the ride lines in a hurry. It's a "fast pass" system that's similar to the Six Flags Flash Pass. The price isn't prohibitively expensive, but it isn't cheap, either. How much does a Quick Queue pass cost? It ranges between about $14.95 and $34.95, depending on the time of year you visit and the particular Quick Queue pass that you purchase (there are 2 types.) So, should you get a Quick Queue? That depends. Do you like rides? Don't even consider getting a Quick Queue front-of-line pass UNLESS you like roller coasters! At the Orlando location of SeaWorld, there are NO reserved seating benefits at shows if you buy a Quick Queue pass (unless the situation changes.) So then, the Quick Queue pass at Orlando is ONLY a front-of-line pass for RIDES. And, since the 3 rides which get the longest lines at SeaWorld Florida are ALL thrill rides, then you don't need a pass unless you plan to enjoy them. What time of year will you be visiting SeaWorld FL? SeaWorld will sell you a Quick Queue pass for a weekday in January...but you're not going to need it. On quite a few days during the "slow season," you'll be able to walk to the front of the line at Kraken, Manta and Journey to Atlantis WITHOUT any special pass in hand. However, if you plan to visit during the summer, then yes, you can really benefit from having a Quick Queue pass. If you don't have one, you'll lose several hours from your touring schedule to standing in lines. What types of Quick Queue passes are there? There are two types: the Unlimited Quick Queue, which gives you front-of-line privileges all day long; and the One-Time Quick Queue, which moves you to the front of the line ONE time on each of the included rides. Should you get the One-Time Quick Queue pass...or the Unlimited Quick Queue? It depends on how much you love roller coasters and how much of your day you want to spend riding them. Even with a Quick Queue pass, there is still SOME time that you'll spend waiting in line. Plan on 5 to 15 minutes in line. And, every minute that you're riding a roller coaster, you can't be watching a show or touring an exhibit. What we'd recommend is getting a One-Time Quick Queue if you'll only be spending one day at SeaWorld Orlando. The park is already so big that you can't see every attraction in one day. If you spend a big chunk of your day riding and re-riding the same coasters, you'll miss out on exciting shows and other experiences that you surely want to enjoy. However, if you have several days to spend at SeaWorld, the Unlimited Quick Queue pass makes perfect sense. You can spend one day enjoying the roller coasters and other rides to your heart's content...and then you still have other days left to enjoy the theme park's exciting shows and entertaining exhibits. What rides are included in the Quick Queue passes? They are: Manta roller coaster, minimum height 54" Kraken roller coaster, min. height 54" Journey to Atlantis thrill ride, 48" min (or 42" with supervising companion) Wild Arctic motion theater ride, 42" minimum PLUS: You will get ONE free ride on SeaWorld Orlando's "extra fee" rides, which are the Sky Tower ride and the Paddle Boats. (You only get one of each even IF you buy the "Unlimited" Quick Queue option.) Should you get your Quick Queue pass AHEAD of time...or wait until you reach the park? If you're planning a summer visit, you may expect a crowd...and feel comfortable purchasing your Quick Queue ahead of time. However, if you'll be visiting SeaWorld during one of the park's slower periods, you may wish to purchase your pass at the theme park...AFTER you see if there is actually a crowd that day. How can you purchase your Quick Queue pass ahead of time? There is a page on SeaWorld Orlando's website where you can make the purchase. Here is a direct link to SeaWorld Orlando's Quick Queue page, for your convenience in checking out this interesting and time-saving program.
