Sea World Orlando is open 365 days per year.So, no matter what dates your Florida vacation might be, you'll be able to visit Sea World...and your favorite killer whale, Shamu! In general, Seaworld Orlando's maximum hours are in effect during the busiest times at SeaWorld Park. What are Sea World's busiest days? These occur during the summer vacation months of June, July and August...plus several holiday periods throughout the year. Busy holidays at Sea World include Spring Break, the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, and the Christmas vacation break. In addition to longer hours, special seasonal-only shows (such as the nighttime favorite, "Shamu Rocks") are held during these busy times. In reverse, Sea World Orlando cuts back its hours during the periods of lightest attendance at the park. The "off season" is a good time to visit the park, too. Though the seasonal shows aren't running during these times, you'll enjoy the lighter crowds, less waiting time at the park's roller coasters, and the more comfortable climate of central Florida's autumn, winter and early spring seasons. February, 2010 operating hours at SeaWorld Orlando: Sea World is open every day this month, but maintains relatively short hours. These are--Every Saturday in February: SeaWorld opens at 9 am and closes at 8 pm (Feb 6, 13, 20 & 27) Every Sunday thru Friday from Feb 1st through Feb 12th: For the first half of the month, Sea World opens at 9 am & closes very early on these dates...at 6 pm! Every Sunday thru Friday from Feb 14th to 28th: Getting a little more generous with their hours, the park is open from 9 am to 7 pm on Sundays and weekdays during the 2nd half of the month. MARCH, 2010 hours at Sea World Orlando: March, 2010 hours at Sea World Orlando are simple. There are only 3 different schedules that the park follows this month. Open hours of 9 am to 7 pm: MOST Sundays and weekdays in March, Sea World Orlando opens at 9 am & closes at 7 pm. This includes the following dates: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 & 26th. Whew...what a list! That's MOST of the days in March! However, there are 2 other schedules that SeaWorld Florida will follow this month: Open hours of 9 am to 8 pm: On the first 3 Saturdays of March, hours will be 9 am until 8 pm. (March 6, 13 and 20.) Open hours of 9 am to 10 pm: Spring Break at Sea World Orlando begins on Saturday, March 27th...and with it come longer hours! The last 5 days of March, the park opens at 9 am and closes late at 10 pm. (March 27, 28, 29, 30 & 31st.) APRIL, 2010 hours at Sea World in Orlando, FL: April is a month when many of Sea World Orlando's fans head to the park to celebrate their Spring Break vacations. Hours are expanded to accommodate the extra visitors. But, since Easter falls on the first Sunday of the month (April 4th,) the Sea World Spring Break hours were very easy for the park to calculate this year. EVERY DAY FROM APRIL 1ST THROUGH APRIL 11TH: Sea World Orlando will open at 9 am and close at 10 pm EVERY DAY FROM MONDAY, APRIL 12TH THROUGH FRIDAY, APRIL 30TH: When the flurry of Easter & Spring Break visitors leave, Sea World Orlando settles back into a schedule which features shorter hours. The park will open at 9 am & close at 7 pm during this time period. Saturday, May 1 thru Friday, May 28: Sea World Orlando's opening time will be 9 am & its closing time will be 7 pm Saturday, May 29 thru Monday, May 31: Opening time is 9 am, and closing time is late at 10 pm for the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. JUNE AND JULY, 2010 hours at Sea World Orlando: Hours are simple during the theme park's busiest months of the year. Every day of these 2 months, Sea World Orlando opens at 9 am and closes at 10 pm. SEPTEMBER, 2010 Seaworld Orlando operating hours:Wednesday thru Friday, September 1, 2, 3: Hours are 9 am to 9 pm OCTOBER, 2010 operating schedule: Every Weekday: Almost every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in October, Sea World Orlando's park hours will begin at 9 am and end at 6 pm. The one exception is Friday, October 29th, when the park will stay open until 8 pm for the park's popular Halloween Spooktacular event. Every Weekend: Every Saturday and Sunday in October, park hours will be 9 am until 8 pm. Also, every Saturday & Sunday during October, 2010 (plus Friday, October 29th, as well), SeaWorld Orlando will hold its fun non-scary Halloween celebration. November 26, 27, 28, 29 & 30: Because many people turn the long Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend into a vacation, hours at SeaWorld Florida will be extended so that you may have a place to enjoy your trip! On the last 5 days of November, SeaWorld Orlando opens at 9 am and doesn't close until 8 pm. DECEMBER, 2010 SeaWorld Orlando hours:December is an exciting month at SeaWorld Orlando. This location is only several blocks east of I-4, so it's quite easy to find. Directions to Sea World Orlando: From Walt Disney World, Kissimmee, or Tampa, take Interstate 4 eastbound, then use the Central Florida Parkway exit. Head east on Central Florida Pkwy for several blocks, following the signs to Sea World Orlando's entrance drive. The center lane is the best one to use, because the left lane becomes a "left turn only" lane between I-4 and the park entrance. From Orlando, Universal Studios resort or the Space Coast cities, take the Beachline (formerly the Bee Line) Expressway and exit at International Drive. Head south on I-Drive following the signs to Sea World Orlando's entrance. (There is no exit for the Central Florida Pkwy on the westbound side of I-4.)
