Six Flags St Louis

Coupons and Discount Tickets

In the slide show above, you're viewing pictures of Six Flags St Louis, Missouri's biggest theme park. If you can't wait to enjoy the park's thrill rides, roller coasters & family attractions, why not check out the current specials & deals available & start planning your visit?

How much does it cost to buy

Six Flags St Louis tickets at full price?

If you show up at the theme park to purchase your tickets (without any money-saving discount or coupon,) then you'll have to pay $46.99 for an adult/teen ticket. A junior ticket costs $36.99.

All guests over 48 inches in height must buy the adult/teen ticket. So, the exact age at which your kids will need to buy the more expensive ticket will vary from one child to the next...depending on how fast they are growing. The particular height of 48" was chosen as the cut-off point, because this is the minimum height requirement for some of the park's major thrill rides and roller coasters.

By planning ahead, you may cut the costs of your theme park visit. On this page, you'll discover some of this year's best discounts to Six Flags St. Louis...formerly known as Six Flags Over Mid America.

Current discount coupons & deals for Six Flags St Louis

Following, you'll find a list of current Six Flags St Louis coupons and specials being promoted in 2011:

1.) Coke Can discount: You may enjoy one of the park's most popular discounts, the Coke can special, simply by bringing a can of Coca Cola (specially marked with a discount coupon...or just a plain, regular can) to the 6 Flags St Louis ticket booths. In return for the can, you'll receive a $10 discount on an adult ticket.

You may have read on the internet about different Coke can specials. What's up with that? The deal is this: each different Six Flags theme park offers a Coke can deal that's unique to that park. (Some parks are giving a bigger Coke discount...but that's because their ticket prices are higher to begin with!)

Coke can discounts can NOT be used together with other specials...and they can't be used when purchasing tickets online at the Six Flags website, either.

2.) The Family Attractions Card discount coupon for Six Flags St Louis: The Family Attractions Card is an absolutely FREE brochure filled with coupons for Missouri attractions. When you pick up your brochure (which you can do at the customer service counter of Schnucks, Dierbergs or Shop N Save,) then you'll get coupons that will help you get discounts at a number of fun places that your family will enjoy visiting. Even better, if you're a theme park lover, is getting a very good coupon for Six Flags St. Louis! For 2011, this coupon allows you to purchase adult/teen tickets for the child's ticket price of $36.99!

Picture: A coaster at 6 Flags St LouisThese same Six Flags St Louis coupons are also available online for you to print at home from the Family Attractions Card website. They are free to print from the website; however, you'll have to give out a bit of personal information, like your name & email address, first. If you'd rather print out your Six Flags St Louis coupons at home, here's a handy link to the St Louis Family Attractions Card website.

Other coupons you'll get from the Family Attraction Card website include discounts to selected St Louis Cardinals games, the Meramec Caverns Zipline, the Raging Rivers water park and a number of other enjoyable places you might wish to explore with your family.

3.) Six Flags St Louis coupons at your local supermarket: This past summer, you could find Six Flags St Louis discount coupons in several places on your grocery store's shelves. Selected Post Cereals: Coupons were on specially marked boxes for a free kid's ticket when you purchase a full-priced adult ticket at the same time. Most of these boxes have already been sold, but you may continue to use the coupons until their printed expiration date. (This offer is good weekdays; on weekends, the coupon is good for $15 off each ticket, instead.)

Another coupon that was in your local market this past summer was the Tony's Pizza discount coupon for Six Flags. On 'specially-marked Tony's boxes in the freezer case, you could find a coupon that's good for $15 off of each adult/teen ticket. Most of these boxes have already been sold, but if you were able to get one of these coupons, they may be used until their printed expiration dates. To redeem either one of these Six Flags grocery coupons, take your coupon to the park's ticket booths to claim your offer; they're not good when buying tickets online. The expiration date for the Post and Tony's coupons is October 10, 2011.

4.) AAA discounts to Six Flags St Louis: If you're a member of the AAA (American Automobile Association,) all you need to do is show your membership card at the theme park's ticket booths...and you'll receive a $5 discount on each ticket you buy. But, the AAA discounts at 6 Flags St Louis don't stop at the gate: you may also show your AAA card inside stores at the park to get a 10% discount on all merchandise purchases which total $15 or more!

5.) Six Flags St Louis Military Discount: Does 6 Flags St Louis offer a discount to members of the military? Well...yes and no. No, you can't get a military discounts if you purchase your tickets online or at the theme park. However, if you plan ahead & purchase them at the MWR/ITR office on base, then yes...you'll be able to get a good discount for yourself and your family members.

Print-at-home discounts from Six Flags St Louis

In addition to the merchant and community coupons & discounts mentioned in the section above, you'll also discover that 6 Flags St Louis offers its own specials and deals. These offers vary from time to time. Every year, they run Early Bird specials during the springtime. Then, a new set of summer specials arrive. And, to get good attendance at Fright Fest, still another round of deals is usually offered.

At the time of this update, the specials and discounts listed below are being offered on the park's own website. (These may change at any time; however, you can be assured that some kind of special discount will be offered if the current list changes.)

If you'd like to check out any of the following discounts in detail, here's a link to the Six Flags St. Louis Tickets page.

1.) Single day print-at-home discount: Currently, the SixFlags.com website is offering a web special for adult/teen tickets. By purchasing your ticket online before you head to the theme park, you may get each adult ticket for the price of a child's ticket ($36.99.)

2.) Multi-attraction discount: If you love the Cards, then the park's unique "Double Play Combo" special may interest you. For the discount price of $55, you'll get your admission to Six Flags St Louis...PLUS admission to a St Louis Cardinals game, as well! You'll shag even better prices if you're purchasing tickets for a group of 10 or more guests: only $45 for the theme park/Cardinals game ticket duo!

3.) 2012 Six Flags St Louis Season Passes are available: If you love theme parks, you'll probably save lots of money by getting a season pass (rather than buying a one-day ticket every time you visit.) Season passes cost $56.99 at the time of this update...and you may visit the park as many times as you like (including Fright Fest) from now until the end of the operating season in 2012. This is almost certainly the going to be the cheapest price of the season. (Note: the Hurricane Harbor water park, included with your season pass, closes earlier; its last day of operation is Labor Day.)

Picture: Scooby Doo ride at Six Flags St Louis

Your season pass comes with a coupon book (available in Spring 2012) that contain discount coupons for your friends and for making purchases of food, merchandise and games inside the park. It's a good deal for frequent guests...and every time you visit 6 Flags St Louis, you save even more money. Still, if $56.99 is more than you wish to pay, there are several ways to get a discount:

a.) Season passes are only $46.99 each when you buy 4 or more, and this deal comes with free parking: Get together with your friends to buy your passes...and you'll each save $10. All 4 passes must be purchased together on one order, however, to qualify for this special price.

4.) Enter a contest: Six Flags St Louis has several different contests going right now (which are being run by several of the theme park's different sponsors.) OK, so you might not win anything...but then again, you might! Here's a link to the page on the Six Flags St Louis website where you'll find current contests for Six Flags St Louis tickets.

5.) Group Discounts: You may get a substantial discount on your tickets if you go as a group with your friends or other families. There is a 15-person minimum for group ticket orders at Six Flags St Louis...but the terrific discount may be worth your time to round up a group. The park's group ticket price is normally $25.99 each (all ages) for visits before Labor Day. But now that Labor Day has passed, the group prices get even better: each ticket will cost only $21.99 if the dates of your group's visit fall on weekends between 9/10/11 and the last day of the operating season, 10/30/11.

Six Flags St Louis Flash Pass

If you're in a hurry...or if you hate lines...then you may buy a special front-of-the-line pass at Six Flags St Louis. It's called the "Flash Pass." For an extra fee, you won't have to stand in endless lines...but you can only use the Flash Pass on certain attractions. Generally speaking, these are the park's most popular rides. Here's the list of rides accepting the Flash Pass this year:

American Thunder wooden coaster
The Boss wooden roller coaster
Big Spin (now re-named Pandemonium)
Batman The Ride looping coaster
Log Flume ride
Mr. Freeze launched coaster
Ninja steel roller coaster
River King Mine Train
Scooby-Doo Ghostblasters
SkyScreamer, new ride for 2011
Superman Tower of Power thrill ride

Tidal Wave plunging boat ride

Flash Passes are available at 3 different price levels...depending on how much time you wish to save. Of course, the more expensive level that you buy, the more time you save. Note: the cost of the Flash Passes is IN ADDITION to your theme park admission.

Regular Flash Passes cost $30 for 1 person, then $20 for each additional guest
Gold level Flash Passes cost $45 for 1 person, then $35 for each additional guest
