Do you love water slides?Would you like to visit an Orlando water park which has so many different water slides you'll have trouble choosing between them? If so, then try the Wet N Wild water park on Orlando's famous International Drive for a superb choice of water slides and attractions! On this page, you can view pictures of Wet N Wild's water slides and attractions...and start your own mental list of which ones you'll want to try out first. (And...which ones are so scary you can't yet make up your mind!) Will you like Wet N Wild? Well, if you're looking for a lavishly themed and decorated park, (or if you'll be trying to entertain small children all day) maybe a different Orlando water park would be a better place for you. But, if you're seeking a good assortment of slides that can keep the tweens, teens and adults in your family entertained all day long, then Wet N Wild will be a good park for your group to attend. What are Wet N Wild's scariest water slides?That's a matter of opinion; here are some contenders:
1.) Black Hole, Next Generation; minimum height 48" tallWet N Wild's Black Hole makes some people's list for "scariest water slide at Wet N Wild." Although it's tall, it doesn't make a straight-down plunge (like some other slides at the park.) Yet, the Black Hole isn't didn't get its name by being tame. It's pitch black inside, and as you swirl, swoop and drop downwards through its winding tubes, you'll never know where you're headed next. This monster slide un-nerves its passengers by effectively leaving them blind, and this loss of control is what makes park guests place the Black Hole into the "scariest slides" category. Other fun effects...such as fog and lights...help make this a water slide a unique ride that guests remember long after their day at the park. 3.) Bomb Bay speed slide; minimum height 48" tall 4.) Der Stuka speed slide; minimum height 48" tall Three other attractions that are also high on people's lists of scariest rides at Wet N Wild are the Brain Wash bowl ride, and the Bomb Bay & Der Stuka free-fall slides. It's easy to see why the Bomb Bay and Der Stuka speed slides are high on peoples "wildest & scariest" lists! For one thing, they're very tall slides. (How tall are the Der Stuka and Bomb Bay slides? A whopping 76 feet tall!) Another reason they're scary is that they're so steep they feel like you're completely free-falling as you drop earthwards from the sky. And, for Bomb Bay, there's a 3rd "scare factor"---when you ride, you don't control the time you make the plunge. (You're dropped through a trap door that opens when you may not be expecting it!) Brain Wash, pictured to your left...with Der Stuka and Bomb Bay beside it...isn't as tall as the "twin" speed slides are. However, Brain Wash makes some people's "scariest" list, anyway. Will it make YOUR "scary slide" list? You'll have to ride it to find out! List of Wet N Wild water slides, continuedIf you love thrills, but hate getting super-scared, these water slides are just the thing!
5.) Mach 5 water slides; no minimum height rule; park states riders "must be able to control mat"6.) The Flyer; Minimum height 36"; riders under 48" must be with an adult 7.) The Blast; Minimum height 36"; riders under 48" must be with an adult In the picture of Wet N Wild water slides to your left, you're actually viewing 5 fun slides. The Flyer is a toboggan-style slide. Up to 4 friends or family members can fit into a rectangular-shaped raft, piled one in back of the other. (It is suggested that the smallest riders go in front, and the larger riders in back.) Then your group will have fun swooshing and gliding down the "mountain" at a fun-filled, moderate pace. The Blast is a hilarious slide that BLASTS you with water squirts on the way down...when you least expect it! When you're too tired to climb a zillion stairs, the Blast slide can offer you a fun time without as many steps to climb as others. Children should have a good grasp of "breath control," since they'll be bombarded with water sprays unexpectedly. Mach 5: Hop aboard a single-rider mat, then slide down your choice of 3 different "moderate-thrill" level slides. Great fun for a wide variety of ages. 
8.) The Storm bowl ride; minimum height 48" tall and should be a strong swimmerThe Storm is a fun body slide and "toilet bowl" ride which whets the imagination by the torrent of steam pouring out of the bowls...like a brewing cauldron! "Hey, what's going on inside?" you can't help but think! Actually, it's just FUN going on inside, as riders drop down into the bowl and swirl 'round & 'round before dropping into the splash pool below. This is a "body slide," on which no mats are used. No cover-ups are allowed to be worn on this ride because of the danger of the rider's face becoming covered up. A waiting area with tables in benches sits beside The Storm for the friends & family members who decide not to give it a try. Your friends or family can enjoy The Surge water slide all together as they twist and turn down this "moderate" thrill-level attraction. 
How to you find The Surge (and its next-door neighbor, Disco H2O?) Look for the attractive dome pictured to your right; it's a Wet N Wild landmark! Climb the stairs...then part way up, you'll be asked to choose between The Surge and Disco H2O; these 2 water slides share a common stairway. 
10.) Disco H2O; minimum height Minimum height 36"; riders under 48" must be with an adult Families and groups can get a wild bowl work-out on Disco H2O....complete with groovy '70's theming! Right on, bro! Forget winding gently down a series of switch-backs. When your family rides the Bubba Tub water slide, you're gonna head down, down, down...screaming all the way! To keep the trip from being too intense for families to enjoy, your drop will be broken by several flat stretches. But, as soon as you have time to catch your breath, you'll find yourself plunging downwards again! Great news, too! The large family-sized rafts you'll be riding are transported to the top by a raft lifting device. You won't have to carry up a thing! Like all of Wet N Wild's raft & mat slides, you WILL be able to wear your cover-up on the Bubba Tub ride.
